Two Commands, One Job

Had two commands doing the same thing. Different names, same outcome. Kept both around because one felt like it was for "starting fresh" and the other for "continuing" — a distinction that only existed in my head.

Every session started with a small pause. Which one applies here? Usually didn't matter. But the pause was always there.

That's the overhead. Not the commands themselves. The moment of classification before the work begins — repeated, indefinitely, for a difference that isn't real.

Killed one. The pause is gone.

Two options for the same job isn't flexibility. It's a decision you've agreed to make forever.
